The largest group of independent media agencies in Latin America joins the global ICOM network.
Quiroga Media, the largest group of independent media agencies in Latin America with offices in 11 countries, has become the newest member of ICOM, one of the world's largest independent networks of advertising, media and marketing agencies.
Quiroga said "joining ICOM opens more doors for our agency worldwide and brings his media agency closer to its goal of becoming a global agency without abandoning its values, its independence and its belief in transparency."
The group currently has 140 employees in the 11 offices which -in addition to those mentioned above- include Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Florida in the United States. The agency's success can be attributed in part to its commitment to maximize customer marketing results using its specialized consumer knowledge and experience in marketing, planning and media acquisitions. For more than 15 years, Quiroga has been developing and maintaining proprietary research, planning, optimization, measurement, control and reporting tools that work in conjunction with the best-known industry tools on the market.
Among the five most important clients of Quiroga are Sanfer Pharmaceutical, Pe├▒afiel drinks, Almundo travel agency, Honda vehicles and Sancor Seguros (insurance Co.) some of which operate in several countries. Other highly recognized brands that the agency has worked with include Acer, Hertz, Huawei, Mercedes, Nikon, Nissin, Ricola, SAP and Sony.
ICOM is among the largest and geographically diverse networks of independent advertising, media and marketing agencies, with more than 80 member agencies in more than 60 countries. Gross annual income exceeds US $ 500 million.
Quiroga Media, the largest group of independent media agencies in Latin America with offices in 11 countries, offers customized comprehensive media solutions to adapt to the different needs of each client, such as strategy, planning, negotiation, management and Reporting.
Founded in Buenos Aires in 2001, Quiroga began its expansion by opening an office in Mexico in 2009. "That was the beginning of a dream - to become the first independent agency that could bring an integrated media solution worldwide" said the founder and CEO Gustavo Quiroga. In the last year, the agency opened an office in Brazil and now serves clients in 11 countries.
"We have many challenges but we remain focused on our goal of strengthening and expanding Quiroga internationally" the CEO added.
For ICOM, the relationship with Quiroga significantly strengthens the network's media offer. "No other media agency has this kind of reach in Latin America" -said ICOM President Bob Morrison. -"This is a significant sum for the ICOM family. This means we don't have to find small media stores independent in each market. We can work with a partner for the whole region, using the same tools and the same approach". (Bob Morrison, President and CEO, Atlanta, USA.)
The expansion of ICOM's global media capabilities is already strong in North America and other markets. To keep growing occupies a prominent place in the list of priorities of the network. For example -Repeat Group in Paris- has recently added several new media clients, including bioclimatic covers for Biossun courtyards and accessories, Bricorama home improvement retailer, Charles & Alice fruit desserts, RATP public, transportation, window treatments Somfy and Wavestone consulting. "We are delighted to welcome our new partner Quiroga in the Latin American region" said Philippe Bonnel, CEO of Repeat Groupe. "As a group of independent marketing communication agencies established throughout the world, providing customers with a competitive alternative on planning and purchasing international mega-media. Groups are an important component of our offering" said Karen Seamen, Director of ICOM Strategic Planning. Seaman, also president and chief operating officer, Cramer-Krasselt - Chicago, Illinois, USA.
ICOM's process with the media is the same as with strategic reports and creative accounts, according to ICOM Executive Director Emma Keenan. The main office centralizes the business. Commitment to the media is determined in the main office, working together with offices along the country and regional brands.
They have been benefited as the media agencies integrating big groups, continue trying to solve the problems of transparency and disclosure in relation to prices and rates. "In today's complex digital media ecosystem, customers demand transparency and data integrity. That is ICOM's hallmark and brings true value to our customers" said Seaman.
